Tamar Braxton is heading back to TV. While we wait for the upcoming season of Braxton Family Values to air, the show’s breakout star, singer Tamar Braxton revealed she has a new show heading to WEtv in April called “Get Ya Life,” named after one of her infamous catchphrases.
The teaser doesn’t give us any indication into what the show will be about: Is it the long-awaited, Steve Harvey-produced talk show she has had in the works for a while, or is it a spin-off of BFV where we watch Tamar go it alone as a single mom trying to get her career back on track? I guess we wont know until we watch the show for ourselves when it premieres next month.
In other Tamar Braxton news, it looks like she may be coming out of musical retirement, because she teased fans with a new song called Crazy Kind of Love, which was lifted from the soundtrack to True to the Game 2.
Here’s what she told Billboard about the song: “I’m just really excited about this project. This song and this whole project really got me into recording again and wanting to be an artist. And I never thought that I wanted to have a record or to even have that kind of passion, and because of this film and because of this particular record has made me fall in love with music again.”
Tamar has been through so much in the past few years that I hope she finds her way back to making music again. I also hope this passion is strong enough that she finally feels confident to make the album she’s always wanted to make.
