LADY GAGA POSTPONES CHROMATICA ALBUM RELEASE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS

It looks like Little Monsters will have to wait a little longer for the release of Chromatica, because Mother Monster herself just announced that due to Miss Rona wrecking havoc on the world, she has decided to postpone the release of her sixth album from April 10th, to later this year.

Here’s what she wrote on Twitter and Instagram:

“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us,” Gaga wrote, “and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”

The singer also revealed that the dates from her Vegas show April 30–May 11 have also been canceled by MGM amid concerns about the virus, and as per official guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The “secret Coachella set” she’d planned is now off, too, since the iconic music festival was postponed until October.

However, she added that tour dates for her “Chromatica ball,” which begin this summer, will still remain in tact.

Hopefully this gives her time to regroup and strategize on how she plans to roll out Chromatica, because quiet as it’s kept Stupid Love is not a good song. In fact, it still sounds like an unfinished demo. Also the way she talked up how much work she put into this album via her recent interview with PAPER, I’m expecting a Fame Monster-level pop masterpiece. If Chromatica is anything less than that you will most certainly get read.
