After giving us a few uptempo tracks to shake our asses to including a cover of the Donna Summer classic I Feel Love, and How Do You Sleep?, (the latter which I still have on repeat), Sam goes back to giving us all the feels with their latest visual for To Die For, the title track from their upcoming third album.
In the video Sam portrays a wig-less, mannequin head on a stick singing their lonely little heart out as people walk by. Sam watches as those couple’s relationships blossom, yearning for what they have until the video comes to a glass-shattering climax.
Also, if you’re not a movie buff like I am, the opening of the track features a sample from the 2001 Jake Gyllenhaal cult film Donnie Darko.
Sam’s third album To Die For drops on May 1. Check out the video below…
