I must have been living under a giant rock, because this morning I was scrolling through my Apple Music playlist to find new music to listen to on my way to work, and I happened stumble across Pet Shop Boys’ euphoric 14th studio album Hotspot.
So after listening to the album and absolutely loving it, I did a little digging and discovered they dropped a music video not too long ago called Monkey Business.
The track, which was produced by Stuart Price (who produced the duo’s last two album’s and Madonna’s disco classic album Confessions on a Dancefloor) plays up the duo’s signature synth sound while also paying homage to Giorgio Moroder on the sonic front, but the boys takes us back to the glory days of discotheques in the visual.
